Winter is here and soon the seasonal storms will be taking a toll on commuters. People who travel long distances back and forth to work each day should keep the name and phone number of a good breakdown service in their wallet or glove compartment. If someone becomes stranded during a winter storm or their car breaks down they can call for immediate assistance. People should always keep a warm blanket or sleeping bag in the trunk of their vehicle as well as a few candles and book of matches. These items can keep everyone in a vehicle from freezing if they breakdown in dangerously cold temperatures.
The following video clip shows how to put together an emergency winter survival kit to keep in your vehicle.
