Leslie Nielsen Death Saddens Fellow Comedians

Everyone who has known and loved actor Leslie Nielsen was sad to hear the news of his death at the age of 84, and the comedians that followed in his footsteps are among the grieving. Leslie Nielson went from being a serious actor to funny lead comic actor after he played a supporting role in the comedy movie "Airplane!" Many of today's popular comedic actors have followed his Leslie Nielsen's comedic style.  


Leslie Nielsen was born in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1926 and died on November 28, 2010 in Florida, United States. Nielson was married to Barbaree Earl at the time of his death.

How Long Do You Cook a Turkey? What Temperature To Cook a Turkey

Happy Thanksgiving! Many people are wondering how long they should cook their Thanksgiving turkey today. Undercooked turkey can pose a health threat so it is crucial to fully cook the meat so that all bacteria is destroyed. The turkey breast (and the stuffing inside) must reach 165 - 170 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Fahrenheit in the thigh). Hopefully  anyone who is cooking a turkey has a meat thermometer on hand. When using a meat thermometer remember to check the thickest part of the turkey breast and to check the temperature of the stuffing as well. 


If you do not have a meat thermometer you should check a Turkey Cooking Time Chart to see how many hours it will take to fully cook the turkey. 

The following information is based on a thawed and stuffed turkey cooking at 325 degrees Fahrenheit:

8 to 12 pounds

3 to 3 1/2 hours

12 to 14 pounds

3 1/2 to 4 hours

14 to 18 pounds

4 to 4 1/4 hours

18 to 20 pounds

4 1/4 to 4 3/4 hours

20 to 24 pounds

4 3/4  to 5 1/4  hours


24 to 30 pounds


51/4 to 6 1/4

Dirty Dancing fans everywhere are cheering this morning, because comeback girl Jennifer Grey has won the 2010 Dancing With The Stars dance competition. The morning of the final dance Grey badly injured her back and was taken to the hospital, but the actress is such a trouper that she showed up and gave a stellar performance despite her pain.

Prince William Engagement Announcement!

The top news this morning is the official announcement of Prince William's engagement to Kate Middleton. Their 2011 wedding will be the largest Royal event since Prince William's parents, Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married on July 29, 1981.

It looks like wrestling star Hulk Hogan is ready to remarry. The 57-year old has been dating the much younger Jennifer McDaniel since 2008. The 35-year-old woman looks much like a younger version of Hulk Hogan's ex-wife Linda.

It is rumored that the Hulk Hogan recently applied for a marriage license in Florida. Since the marriage license expires on January 11, 2011 it means that if a wedding is taking placing, it will be happening soon. Perhaps the couple will throw a beautiful Christmas wedding, or they may just decide to perform a quickie ceremony to avoid publicity. Hogan's ex-wife Linda is also dating a much younger partner, but there's no word on wedding bells for Linda anytime soon.

Michelle Duggar was searching for the perfect "modest" dress for her vow renewal ceremony. After 18 children (they have since had their 19th child) and 25 years of marriage the couple decided to renew their marriage vows.
