Celebrity websites are announcing that Ricky Martin is out of the closet because of this statement he made on his official website on March 29, 2010.

"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

People have been guessing that Martin was gay for years now even though he spends a lot of time being photographed with beautiful women.

Ricky Martin has two children, twin boys that were born in 2008. Since he made the comment about being homosexual everyone is trying to figure out exactly who is the boyfriend of Ricky Martin.

Since nobody has produced a current Ricky Martin boyfriend picture it could just mean that he's single.

Traveling With Pets - Helpful Road Trip Tips For Dog Owners

Before you take your dog on the road with you, consider whether or not your pet is up for the journey. If you have a young puppy, a very old dog, or your dog is sick, injured, or pregnant they would probably be better off staying home with a pet sitter or be boarded in a pet kennel. Make regular stops every few hours so both you and your pet can have a break. Do not leave your dog in the car in warm temperatures while at rest stops, heat stroke can happen within minutes. If you must leave your pet in the car leave the air conditioning running.

Kirstie Alley's Big Life - The First Weigh In

Have you seen "Kirstie Alley's Big Life." It's not the most interesting reality show on television but if you're a Kirstie Alley fan you get the chance to see what her life at home is like.

I watched half of the first episode. It was interesting just to see how big her house is, I know that the movie stars are rich but I didn't realize how rich Kirstie Alley actually was until I saw the way she lives.

I lost interest before the "big weigh in" and changed the channel. They were setting up the scales to see how much Kirstie Alley's "start weight" was, and even that couldn't keep me interested enough to keep watching.

According to People.com Kirstie Alley's recent highest weight is 228 pounds. Kirstie Alley lost 75 pounds while she was a spokesperson for Jenny Craig. She ended up gaining 83 pounds back, and is now trying to publicly go down to her goal weight of 140 pounds.

I'm thinking that Kirstie Alley is spending too much time focusing on her weight, and a TV show about someone obsessing about their weight is really, really boring. Check out this video clip from "Kirstie Alley's "Big Life" which airs on A&E.

"Hot Tub Time Machine Reviews" and Official Movie Trailer

I just heard about the Hot Tub Time Machine movie for the first time a couple of days ago and now all the sudden it's in movie theaters. I don't know if there was a lack of advertising or what but this movie seemed to come out of the blue.

"Hot Tub Time Machine" is a comedy starring John Cusack, Chevy Chase, Lizzy Caplan, Crispin Glover, and Kate Walsh. The group of hot-tubbing friends are transported back through time to the eighties where they have one weekend to redo their lives and change their future.

The critic reviews of Hot Tub Time Machine are pretty mixed over at RottenTomatoes.com. If you enjoy a good mindless comedy than this is a great film for you. If your looking for something deeper than you won't be too pleased with this silly comedy.

I love YouTube.com as much as anyone else and I'm always grabbing YouTube videos to post on my blogs but when the "Washington Post" posts an article about YouTube service being temporarily unavailable you have to wonder. (It is a great article though).

I'm just not sure this is this really big news. After all, everyone knows that You Tube will be back again. The same thing happens with hotmail, Gmail, and just about everything else on the Internet. At least it's not making CNN headlines, at least not yet anyway.

Victims of clerical abuse were "deeply disappointed" by the Pope's recent letter to the Irish Catholic Church according to the group which represents them.

Although the Pope's letter stated that Irish bishops had made serious mistakes the victims were hoping that the head of the Irish Church be asked to resign.

New Moon Midnight Release - Video Is Now Out On DVD - Midnight Release Parties

The "Twilight" Sequel "New Moon" is officially out on DVD at midnight tonight, March 20, 2010 being its official release date. I was at the video store earlier today and ask if I could reserve a copy of the New Moon DVD. They told me that they weren't taking reservations but that I could come back tonight at midnight.

I want to see new moon but I think I'll just wait a while until all the hype dies down. I'm not into lining up at video stores at midnight. I realized that the DVD release was a really big deal when I heard that people were holding "New Moon release parties." Those are the people that will be lined up outside the video stores tonight.

I regret not seeing New Moon in the theaters and am looking forward to renting the movie (maybe even buying it) but a New Moon part? I know Edward and Jacob are amazing and everything but lets not get too carried away.

Graveyard Of The Atlantic Museum In Outer Banks North Carolina

If you find shipwrecks interesting (I know I do) then you might want to visit the "Graveyard Of The Atlantic Museum" which is located in the Village of Hatteras in Outer Banks, North Carolina.

This unique North Carolina tourist attraction opened in 2002 and attracts thousands of visitors each year. It features maritime history exhibitions and interesting information on historic shipwrecks. In 2008 the Museum became a recognized Regional State History Museum.

There are at least 1,500 documented ship wrecks in Outer Banks history, some of which can be seen when visiting the Museum. If you are a history buff or you are interested in finding out more about ancient shipwrecks then you should visit the Graveyard Of The Atlantic Museum.

If you don't live close to Museum you could incorporate the visit into a vacation or weekend trip. North Carolina is very tourist friendly and offers plenty of Outer Banks vacation rental locations for those visiting from out of town.

Cool Barcode Scanner App - Shop Savvy

Have you ever been in a store and gone through the checkout line only to have the wrong price come up on an item you are purchasing? This has happened to me a few different times at Wal-Mart.

For example, I'll find a product on the store shelf and the price is marked $12.99 and then I'll go through the checkout line and when the product is put through the barcode scanner it comes up as $19.99. Lately I've been checking the price of some items with the "Self-serve" barcode scanner that Wal-Mart offers so I can catch any mistakes before I reach the check out counter.

There is a cool cell phone application called "Shop Savvy" which lets you scan the barcode of products with your phone. Not only will it show you which stores offer the best prices on the item but it will also give you information on the product. I've never tried the app so I don't know how accurate it is. But according to the following video review Shop Savvy works pretty well.

According to several gossip magazines and websites Sandra Bullock's husband of five years "Jesse James" has allegedly had an affair with a tattoo model, stripper, Michelle "Bombshell McGee" while Sandra Bullock was away filming the movie "Blindside."

I enjoy walking, jogging, and hiking so over the years I've been a become a huge fan of jogging strollers. I bought my first "Chariot" jogging stroller 12 years ago when my oldest daughter was three. I've tried out both single seat jogging strollers as well as double the double seat style.

A single seat style double stroller not only great for jogging but also for walking in areas where the surfaces are wet, bumpy, or even snowy. You can go places that you never could go with a regular four wheel stroller.

A double seat jogging stroller is perfect for parents who have two children close in age. Even though a double seat jogging stroller isn't practical for places like the mall, they are fantastic for nature walks or neighborhood jogs.

I particularly like the way that jogging strollers are designed to protect kids from the elements. By adding on a weather proof shield to your stroller you can walk outdoors in the rain, wind, sleet, snow, and mud and your child will remain cozy and protected inside.

Kevin Garn Confession - 15-Year-Old Cheryl Maher

Utah House majority leader "Kevin Garn" has publicly confessed that 25 years ago in 1985 he had a naked "hot tub" bath with a 15-year-old girl named Cheryl Maher. At the time Kevin Garn was 28-year-old.

Kevin Garn has stated that he has paid $150,000 to Cheryl Maher during his 2002 campaign for congress to keep her quiet about the naked hot tub incident.

Kevin Garn stated "This has just been a nightmare for me," Maher said in a telephone interview with the newspaper from New Hampshire. "I just want to tell the truth because it’s part of the healing process for me."

Garn regrets paying Cheryl Maher off for her silence but said he was scared. According to a newspaper article Kevin Garn has made it clear that he did not have any pysical contact with Cheryl Maher back in 1985.

"I can unequivocally tell you there was no physical contact, there was no touching, there was no intercourse, there was none of those things. It simply did not occur," he said.

Actor Corey Haim's Sudden Death at Age 38

Actor Corey Haim was found dead in his home today from what initially appears to be a drug overdose. The Canadian born actor became famous as a teenager after acting in several hit movies including "Lucas," "Dream a Little Dream," "National Lampoon's Last Resort," and "License To Drive."

He was often teamed up with actor "Corey Feldman" and the two became friends. In 2007 Corey Haim and Corey Feldman came together in the A&E reality series "The Two Coreys" which lasted a year.

In "The Two Coreys" series the fact that  Corey Feldman had some "issues" was a big part of the show.Corey Haim was only 38-years-old at the time of his death.

I have TMJ problems so I found his jaw joint exercises particularly helpful. He also has a great segment on "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" which is a huge problem for many people.

If you think yoga is too hard, or just not for you, try out a few of the exercises shown in the video and you'll realize that they are not only easy but they also work!

Sarah Rogers Story - The Today Show - Video Clip

Wife and mother "Sarah Rogers" has been missing since December of 2009 and her family desperately wants the public to help find her.

The loving mother of a toddler has mental health problems and has battled with bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia. After she stopped taking her prescription medication Sarah Rogers snapped, getting into her car and driving away.

The police recovered her vehicle alongside the highway with the engine still running. But Sarah Rogers was nowhere to be found. Her family believes that she may have received a ride from someone passing by.

None of Sarah Roger's credit or debit cards have been used since she's vanished and investigators are still trying to piece together what could have happened the day Sarah disappeared.

Kirstie Alley's Big Life - Reality Show Trailer

Actress and former Jenny Craig spokesperson, Kirstie Alley, lost weight with Jenny Craig, gained it back it again, and is now reinventing herself with her new reality series "Kirstie Alley's Big Life" which will air on A&E.

In a recent Oprah Winfrey Show interview Kirstie Alley talked about having cameras in her home and about starting her own weight loss business.

I'm wondering what kind of weight loss products she will be marketing. Although I'm looking forward to the new show I don't understand how she can be planning a weight loss business when she has yet to conquer her weight problem. It's not just about losing weight after all it's more about learning how to keep it off long term.

Alice In Wonderland Reviews and Movie Trailer

The new "Johnny Depp" movie "Alice In Wonderland" is out in theaters this weekend and is receiving some very mixed reviews. The movie critics over at "RottenTomatoes.com" have plenty to say about this latest Tim Burton movie in their online reviews.

Fans of  "Alice In Wonderland" books are not satisfied by the movies story. Some critics aren't thrilled with the actress who plays Alice.

The overall consensus is that the Disney 3D movie is visually pleasing and entertaining to most, but some expect a lot more from a Tim Burton movie and feel that "Alice In Wonderland" leaves something to be desired.

If you're looking for a small affordable laptop then the Acer Aspire One Netbook just might be right for you. Such a small laptop definitely has it's disadvantages such as a cramped keyboard. But for a price around $300.00 for a brand new laptop you can't expect perfection.

Personally, I cringe whenever I hear the words "colon cleanse" but there are some people who swear by colon cleanse benefits. Like most people I don't even want to think about Colon Cancer but this is exactly the attitude that contributes to unnecessary colon cancer deaths.

News personality "Katie Couric" did an interesting "Conquering Colon Cancer" series in which she encourages everyone to  have a colonoscopy. She makes a great point when she says she doesn't want people to "die of embarrassment."

Katie Couric lost her husband to colon cancer in 1998 and is now dedicated to "colon cancer awareness". You can find out more about the prevention and treatment of the disease in the following "Early Show video clip.

Honey I Shrunk The Kids Remake - Movies In The Works

According to the Australian website "What's Playing" there are some major film remakes in the works. The popular 80's film "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" which stars the now retired actor "Rick Moranis" is the movie that's created the most online "buzz" today, but there are also 4 other exciting movie remakes that have been announced over the last couple of days.

If "What's Playing" is correct there are plans for a "Gilligan's Island" movie remake, plus remakes of "Pet Cemetery," "Police Academy," and the movie "Arthur" which starred musician and comedic actor "Dudley Moore" who died in 2002.

As someone who grew up in the seventies I would be most excited to see a "Gilligan's Island" remake but I'm not sure how well the movie would do with the younger viewers of today's generation.

Jason Alexander - The Newest Face Of Jenny Craig

I've loved watching "Valerie Bertinelli" losing weight and keeping off with the Jenny Craig program. Although Jenny Craig spokesperson "Kirstie Alley" didn't have the same level of success with the program and quickly gained back all of the weight she lost on the program.

Jenny Craig's most recent spokesperson actor and comedian "Jason Alexander" is already beginning to see positive weight loss results.

One of the reasons that the "Seinfeld" star wants to lose weight is because he is stuck in the Seinfeld character "George Constanza" look and he wants to change his appearance so that new acting roles will open up to him.

I can't wait to see what Jason Alexander will look like at the end of his Jenny Craig program.

NBC Dateline Special - Kidnapping Epidemic In Mexico

Last night's March 5, 2010 NBC Dateline special featured the frightening story of a husband and father, Eduardo Garcia Valseca, living in Mexico who was kidnapped and held ransom for 7 horrifying months.

He was kept in a small dark box, beaten and tortured on a daily basis by a group of unknown kidnappers who were demanding 8 million dollars for his release, when his family didn't have anywhere near that amount of money.

Eduardo's wife Jayne Valseca went through psychological hell as she attempted to negotiate with the kidnappers for months on end, worrying for her husbands safety.

Months after his kidnapping Eduardo was released after the kidnappers were paid a substantial amount of money. He was suffering from malnutrition as a result of starvation and could barely walk.

Now back on his feet and living in the United States Eduardo Garcia Valseca and his wife Jayne are ready to share their story with the world in the hopes of improving the kidnapping for ransom epidemic in Mexico.

Office Furniture Of The Future

I recently stumbled upon an interesting article posted on "ForeverGeek.com" titled "25 Intriguing Products for Unique Home Office Design."

The article features the strangest pieces of office furniture that I've ever seen. When I think of "office furniture" artistic pieces such as this office chair made out of bicycle parts pictured below is the last thing I envision.

Although office furniture made out of recycled materials isn't part of our everyday lives it is likely going to be "style of the future." The trend of purchasing "environmentally friendly" products (including office furniture) is only just beginning. 

I'm guessing that in the next 25 to 50 years environmentally friendly furniture is "all" that we'll be able to find in stores as manufactures work to perfect style and function with environmental responsibility.

Jessica Simpson Says She's "Disappointed" In Ex John Mayer

Jessica Simpson appeared on yesterday's Oprah Winfrey Show where she admitted that she is angry at ex boyfriend John Mayer but most of all disappointed.

This is the first time that Jessica Simpson has spoken out about John Mayer's "Playboy Magazine" interview in which he said that having sex with Jessica Simpson was like "crack cocaine."

Nissan Recall - Nissan Recalls 540,000 Vehicles

There has been a massive 2010 Nissan recall due to "brake pedal problems." Nissan Motor has decided to recall 540,000 vehicles after realizing there are faulty brake pedal problems that may also affect the vehicles fuel gauge even though there has been no reported accidents.

Nissa Motor has recalled the following vehicles from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Russia:

Titan
Armada
Infiniti QX56
Fontier
Pathfinder
Xterra
Quest

Film Critic "Roger Ebert" Will Be On Today's Oprah Winfrey Show

If you've seen Roger Ebert on television lately you've probably wondered what on earth has happened to the once plump film critic. Ebert has been suffering from thyroid cancer and has had the lower part of his jaw removed leaving him with a drastically altered appearance. Although Roger Ebert can no longer speak, he continues to work as a film critic reviewing movies.

This is why I love Twitter. Actor and comedian Jim Carrey tweeted about the birth of his first grandson "Jackson Riley Santana" who was born on February 27, 2010, and he even included a TwitPic picture of the newborn baby.

Jackson Santana is the son of Jim Carrey's daughter Jane Erin Carrey and her husband musician Alex Santana. The baby boy weighed in at 7lbs and 11 ounces.
