Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oskana Grigorieva claims that the actor beat her up in January 2010, knocking out her teeth and giving her a concussion. Gibson's lawyers (and some of his fans) believe that Oskana is coming up with a series of lies to make Mel look bad, while others believe the woman is telling the ugly truth. Oksana has dental records to back up her story, and apparently she also has secret tapes of arguments she has had with her ex Mel Gibson. She plans to use the audio tapes as evidence in her court case against Mel.
Oksana Grigorieva recently got a domestic violence restraining order against Mel Gibson, but she did not report the alleged abuse incident at the time it happened. The couple broke up in May, 2010 and have joint custody of their daughter Lucia.
