Smoking Toddler Video Shocks North Americans

Here in North America you never, ever hear of a baby or toddler smoking. Even the worst of parents wouldn't hand their toddler a cigarette, so when the parents of an Indonesian toddler were video taped talking about their son's nicotine addiction like it was not that big of a deal, it became a "huge deal" in the United States and Canada.

There's over a dozen video clips of the toddler smoking posted on You Tube, and the videos have received over half of a million views so far. The crazy thing is that this smoking toddler is not uncommon in his part of the world. I'm wondering if the child's parents truly understand how negatively cigarettes can affect their child's health. If they do understand the dangers of smoking, then perhaps they just don't care. I would never have guessed that there were young children smoking if it weren't for this crazy video going viral, it's insane.
