Malcom X Killer Thomas Hagan Released From Prison On Parole

Thomas Hagan, 69, is a free man after spending 44 years of his life doing prison time for his part in the shooting and killing Malcom X in 1965. Malcom X was a high profile activist who was married with children. In total he had six daughters, the youngest was born after his assignation.

Even though the news articles around the web are stating that Thomas Hagan is now a free man, he pretty much has been a free man since 1988 when he began a work release program. While on work release Thomas Hagan lived with his family five days a week and spent the weekends in jail. The other two men who were involved in the killing of Malcom X have already been released from prison.
