15-year-old Canadian music star Justin Bieber is not dead. He is just the latest victim in the Internet "death rumor" cycle. All it takes is for one person to post a fake death rumor of the celebrity of their choice on their blog and the next thing you know people begin believing the rumor and it keeps spreading.
Most people didn't pay much attention to Internet death rumors until the King Of Pop Michael Jackson's sudden death. Because younger stars who have died suddenly like actress Britanny Murphy were first reported on the Internet people actually believe just about any celebrity death report posted online.
Miley Cyrus has to be the queen of the death rumors because it's her death by car accident has been reported online about a dozen times since her career took off.
Today I've read online rumors of Justin Bieber dying after being shot in the head at a nightclub and that he commit suicide. It's pretty sick that someone would make this stuff up.
