One of today's top "Google Trends" which means "the most searched for phrases on Google Search" is for the "Little Buddy Tracker," a child locator device made by Insignia.

I've never heard of the "Little Buddy Child Tracker" before. I think it's a great way for parents to see where their children are, the only thing is, it may give parents a false sense of security.

For example, parents may decide that their child is safe to walk to school alone, or walking home from a friends because they can see where they are.

A child tracker is no match for a child predator, or a car hitting your child crossing the road. You may know where your child is, but you still don't know who they are with or what they are doing.

In my opinion the "Little Buddy Child Tracker" is a valuable device but it shouldn't replace hands on parental supervision.

Wal Mart Has a Price Guarantee?

I recently saw a news report on television talking about Wal Mart's barcode scanners price guarantee. I've never heard of such a thing and was surprised to find out that Wal-Mart stores are supposed to give you a discount on items that have scanned at a higher price during check out.

I searched the Internet to find out more about this mysterious Wal Mart price scan policy and couldn't find any relevant information on it, I couldn't even find information on the news report that I saw.

Since I regularly see customers arguing with Wal Mart cashiers over price differences and the cashiers refusing to budge, I can't see them giving a discount on every scanning mistake made.

Countless times Wal Mart cashiers have scanned my purchases at a higher price and expect me to go back and find another of the same item so they can check the code on that one. I figure that the money I save overall by shopping at Wal Mart makes up for the crappy service.

I still like the great deals that I find at Wal-Mart, but as a Wal-Mart customer you've got to watch your receipts and be willing to fight when prices come up higher than advertised.

Wrinkle Reducers - What's Your Anti Aging Secret?

I've tried a few different types of "wrinkle creams" but wonder how much they actually help stunt the aging process. I'll be turning 37 in a couple of weeks and am at the age where I feel I have to begin using anti aging products before it's too late!

I personally don't spend a lot of money on wrinkle creams, and usually choose cheaper Drug Store brands when I do purchase anti aging products. But that will likely change when I hit my forties.

Another product that helps reduce wrinkles are "frownies." I have tried out the product and personally find that they're a bit uncomfortable to wear, and even though they worked great for me, in my case the great results didn't last long enough for it to be worth it for me to keep using the product.

Some people swear that sleeping on a "satin pillow" will prevent the skin from developing wrinkles, but I haven't become desperate enough to give that one a try yet.

What Type Of Exercise Burns The Most Calories

I've began exercising regularily recently and wondered which types of exercise burn the most calories. I usually jog or I spend 45 minutes doing step aerobics and wondered which physical activities would produce the best results.

Using an online exercise calorie counter, I listed in order the physical activities that burn the most calories:

1) Jumping rope - skipping

2) Jogging

3) Walking uphill or using your treadmills uphill setting.

4)Brisk walking

5)Moderate walking

Of course there are many variables, such as weight, metabolism, and intensity but this gives you a rough idea of which type of exercise will burn the highest amount of calories.

Baby Einestein Recall/Refund

I thought that this was pretty funny, "Disney's Baby Einstein" is offering refunds for parents who have used the "Baby Einstein" DVDs without improving their child's IQ. Seriously?

Although the Baby Einstein DVDs are marketed towards infants, "The American Academy of Pediatrics" has recommended that children under the age of two should not watch TV or videos. No kidding?

Disney is now offering a refund of up to $15.99 of the original purchase price for up to four "Baby Einstein" videos per household.

Come on, did parents really expect that their children would grow up to be little Einstein's because they watched DVDs as infants. I think Disney is being generous with their "Baby Einstein refund."

If parents really want to produce a child with a high IQ, good nutrition, lots of creative parental interaction, and reading aloud to children are a good place to start.

Steve Phillips ESPN Scandal - Wife Plus Crazy Girlfriend = Drama!

"Steve Phillips,"(pictured below right) a prominent ESPN baseball analyst is the top scandal in the headlines after his 22-year-old mistress felt betrayed when dumped and decided to confront Phillips wife, Marni Phillips. Steve Phillips production assistant "Brooke Hundley" (pictured below left) has been described as "crazy" by Marni Phillips.

Marni and Steve Phillips have four children together. 46-year-old Steve Phillips likely got more than he bargained for when he had an affair with and then broke off the relationship with "Brooke Hundley."

Steve Phillips' wife Marni even had to call 911 after Brooke Hundley frightened her while she was at home, and Hundley allegedly tried to make contact with the Phillips' teenage son via Facebook.

Phillips has taken a leave of absense from his high profile ESPN job and he and his wife Marni are now separated.

Miley Cyrus Makes Goodbye To Twitter Rap Video - How Weird

Actress and singer "Miley Cyrus" has had it with Twitter and deleted her Twitter account, it sounds like she's even gone a little bit anti-twitter.

Cyrus made up a "You Tube" song saying she doesn't want every detail of her life turned into a tabloid story.

So then why make such a big deal about leaving Twitter? Not only did she make "another" tabloid story by making such a big deal about leaving Twitter.com but she even made a song and video for everyone to post on their websites.

Why not just delete the Twitter account and move on. Of course it's because she's a teenager, and just like every other teenage girl in the world every move they make is filled with "drama." Maybe the next big news story will be..."Miley Cyrus" returns to "Twitter"...seriously, is this even news?

And this opinion is coming from a Miley Cyrus fan, I don't even want to know what the Miley haters are going to say about the Miley Twitter Video on You Tube. It's kind of lame coming from such a talented artist, but hey, she's just a kid.

NASA Bombing Moon - October 9, 2009 - Video Clip

NASA is planning on "bombing the moon" tomorrow, October 9, 2009, with a rocket the size of school bus, in an effort to find out if there is water on the moon.

Sounds a little bizarre doesn't it? Some are worried about the impact that the "moon bomb" will have on the environment, but I'm sure NASA wouldn't do anything detrimental to the earth. At least I seriously hope not.

David Letterman Apology To Wife - VIDEO

"David Letterman" made a public apology on last night's Monday, October, 5, 2009 Late Night With David Letterman show to his staff and to wife "Regina Lasko."

Letterman says that his affairs have hurt his wife deeply and that he didn't realize that his staff would be harassed by reporters after he admitting having sex with female co-workers last week.

I for one don't feel sorry for David Letterman at all, I do feel very sorry for his wife Regina though, what an embarrassing nightmare to have to live through.

I live in Canada so the swine flu vaccination is still weeks away from arriving but I've been trying to decide whether or not my children should have the swine flu (H1N1) vaccination.

I was surprised to find out that there is a lot of information which is "against" taking the swine flu shot like the following "swine flu conspiracy" video:



I didn't know much about the swine flu pandemic of the seventies (the 1976 swine flu pandemic) until today. I had no idea that the 1976 swine flu vaccination caused neurological damage and even death in some of the people who were vaccinated.





I also wasn't aware that there were any potentially harmful ingredients in the 2009 swine flu vaccine This video clip of a doctor's concern of the complications of receiving the swine flu shot is certainly an eye opener:

People who are considering whether or not to receive the "swine flu vaccination" need to be properly informed so they can make an educated choice after knowing the risks involved. Will the government be making sure that those who receive the vaccine are fully aware of the ingredients and potential risks? I hope this isn't 1976 all over again, but so far it looks that way.

Woman Viciously Attacked By Raccoons

A 74-year-old woman was savagely attacked by a group of 5 raccoons. Neighbors can testify that the woman who was attacked outside of her home was covered in blood and had many wounds.

Now neighbors are concerned that their children could be harmed by the same raccoon pack. Authorities promise to catch the raccoons and test them for rabies. It is so far unknown why this particular pack of raccoons is so aggressive.

What is Jon Gosselin's problem? The most recent Jon and Kate Gosselin news is that Jon Gosselin allegedly took $230,000 out of his and Kate's joint bank account leaving Kate with $1000 to pay for groceries and bills for her and their 8 children.

Maybe he's planning on buying his college age girlfriend Hailey some more expensive gifts while Kate tries to figure out how to buy food for the kids.

All of Jon Gosselin's claims of Kate "abusing" him are completely overshadowed with the fact that his recent stupid choices have harmed his family far more than Kate's bossy attitude ever has. It's the same "take the lead" attitude that will likely get Kate Gosselin through these hard times. Jon Gosselin needs to grow up and actually "do" what he keeps "saying," which is put his children first.

Thousand Pound Pumpkin - Check Out The Pumpkin That Weighed in at 1000 Pounds!

A U.S. family managed to grow a huge pumpkin that weighed exactly 1000 pounds at a recent Colorado Springs contest.

The thousand pound pumpkin may be massive but it still doesn't beat out the world record holder for "Biggest and Heaviest Pumpkin" which is 1,528 pounds.

"Madonna" and "Lady Gaga" appeared on "SNL" last night, October 3, 2009 to perform a comedy skit where they're supposed to be hating each other. Both stars did a great job but I think the skit could have been a little more creative. After all "Lady Gaga and Madonna" together could have done a way better SNL skit then they wrote for them.
