Cash For Clunkers Suspended? Car Allowance Rebate System At Risk

According to ABC News the "Cash For Clunkers" program may be suspended if the program runs out of funds early. The Cash For Clunkers program was scheduled to run until Novemeber 1 2009 or until government allocated fund ran out.

But due to the great success of cash for clunkers it looks like the program may not last until the end of the summer. For now though "cash for clunkers" is still going strong but if you're planning on trading in your old vehicle you might want to take advantage of the program before it's too late.

7-Year-Old Boy Steals Car - VIDEO Of High Speed Chase

A 7-year-old boy from Utah stole the family car when he didn't want to go to church and found himself in a high speed police chase. I don't think I would have believed that this story was true if I hadn't seen this CNN video clip of the child actually running out of the car. Wow. Check out the 7-year-old police chase video:

I thought this video clip of Billy Ray Cyrus and stepdaughter Brandi singing the song "Some Gave All" on CNN's Larry King Live was pretty cool. I've never even heard of Brandi Cyrus before, wow, does she ever look like her sister Miley.

Madonna Biceps - Is She Obsessed With Working Out?

Madonna's huge biceps are making today's headlines and after taking a look at some recent Madonna pictures it's not hard to see why.



Madonna has always been known for her super sexiness and now that she's 50 it looks like she's trying to prove that she's still got it by working out to extreme. The problem is the bulging biceps aren't all that sexy. Working out is great and everything but Madonna seriously needs some body fat! Here veins are bulging which pretty much defeats the purpose of trying to look your best.

I'm not going to accuse Madonna of having an eating disorder like Anorexia but I question whether she has unhealthy obsession with diet and exercise.

"Bryce Dallas Howard" Takes Over Vampire "Victoria Role" In Twilight's "Eclipse"

Big news for "Twilight" fans today, the part of "Victoria" which was played by actress Rachelle Lefevre will now be taken over by actress Bryce Dallas Howard for the third Twilight movie "Eclipse."

Rachelle Lefevre, 30, played the red haired villain vampire in the "Twilight" movie and it's sequel "New Moon."

Rumor has it that scheduling conflicts were the reason for the change in actresses, but you have to wonder what other acting role could be more important to Rachelle Lefevre than the extremely popular Twilight Series.

Bryce Dallas Howard, 28, is the daughter of actor and director Ron Howard (Who starred in Andy Griffith and Happy Days), but is a talented actress in her own right. Bryce Dallas has had roles in "As You Like It," "Terminator Salvation," "The Village," and Spider-Man 3 and 4."

Filming of "Eclipse" will begin next month. What do you think? Will Bryce Dallas Howard be a good (or should I say evil) "Victoria?"

"The Room" Movie Trailer - Interesting Dark Comedy

I noticed that the movie "The Room" was a popular Google search today so I looked up the "The Room" movie trailer on U Tube to find out what all of the buzz is about. It looks pretty interesting, not the greatest quality but I can't help wanting to check out the movie.

Some say that "The Room" is "the best worst movie" meaning even though it's not great it's actually worth seeing. Even if it's just to check out how bad it is. Much like "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" it has it's share of hardcore fans making it a "cult classic."

At this point it's almost unbelievable the amount of news outlets that have posted nude pictures of sportscaster Erin Andrews.

Erin Andrews was violated when someone drilled a hole in a hotel room wall and took a video of her naked then posted it to the Internet. Although Andrews privacy has been violated in the worst way, the media has chosen to post still photos taken from the video on their websites and television news segments for the past week.

Alexis Cohen - American Idol UTube Sensation Dies

If you watch American Idol you'll probably remember "Alexis Cohen," the American Idol contestant with a "bigger than life" attitude.

Alexis Cohen was going to college to become a veterinarian but also dreamed of being a singer and actress. She was found dead at the side of the road on July 25, 2009 after being hit by a car. So far police are treating Alexis Cohen's death as a homicide. She was 25-years-old.

Jon Gosselin is acting more like a teenage party boy than a father of 8 kids these days and his latest move to cheat on brand new 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman is a bit bizarre.

Gosselin and Hailey Glassman were supposed to be so smitten with one another that some guessed the couple were engaged.

Just a few days ago Hailey Glassman said how wonderful it is that her family approved of dating Jon. Meanwhile Jon had already began dating another woman, Kate Major.

Kate Major, 26 is a reporter for "Star" magazine and met Jon while trying to get a story on him. The couple have been getting to know each other for five days but Hailey Glassman didn't find out the two were dating until questioned by yet another celebrity gossip reporter.

If I were Kate Gosselin I'd be just a little bit miffed by Jon's playboy behavior. While she's looking after 8 kids, he's running wild, and it hasn't even been a month since the couple filed for divorce.

Jon needs to slow down a bit, and it wouldn't hurt for him to at least try to avoid the paparazzi while he's with his various women so his kids don't have to grow up seeing the ups and downs of each of his stupid relationships.

Andrea McNulty Accusing Ben Roethlisberger Of Rape

Andrea McNulty, a Harrah’s Casino employee, has accused Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of a sexual assault taking place July of 2008 and has served him with a six count civil complaint, assault, sexual assault and battery, false pretenses, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress and fraud.

McNulty has accused Ben Roethlisberger of inviting her into his hotel room, asking her to fix his television set and then sexually assaulting her.

Andrea McNulty never filed a criminal complaint against Ben Roethlisberger for the alleged attack which raises some questions. Why didn't Andrea McNulty report the incident to police in the summer of 2008? If Andrea McNulty was looking for justice then wouldn't criminal charges be more appropriate?

Could it be because 27-year-old Ben Roethlisberger is worth around $102 million dollars? Or could the football player be guilty of committing an unreported crime?

Today is the anniversary of the July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing. Although the Soviet Union landed a spacecraft on the moon ten years earlier, it wasn't until 1969 that the first human being (Neil Armstrong) stood on the moon.

Neil Armstrong is now 78 years-old and retired, during his career as an astronaut he spent 8 days and 14 hours in space.

Here is the one of the most famous video clips in history in which American astronaut "Neil Armstrong" says ""That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Astronaut "Buzz Aldrin" who quickly joined Neil Armstrong on the moon's surface was the second man to walk on the moon.

Anne Sluti Story - Taken In Broad Daylight

I just heard of the Anne Sluti story for the first time today and was shocked by the details. In 2001 Anne Sluti was an happy and athletic 17-year-old high school honor student when she was kidnapped in a parking lot during the day with witnesses standing by watching the abduction.

Her abductor was 29-year-old Anthony Steve Wright who is also known as "Tony Zappa."

The young girl was held hostage while Zappa traveled from state to state. Anne Sluti was repeatedly bound and raped but kept it together during those dark days, leaving clues such as notes behind in the hopes she'd be found.

Police were able to track down Tony Zappa six days after the abduction. After a lengthy standoff Zappa finally surrendered to police and Anne Sluti was safe. Tony Zappa was sentenced to life in prison in 2002.

Anne Sluti decided not to receive counseling. She graduated from the Rose Hulman Institute of technology and now has a career in engineering.

For the last three days the phrase "erin andrews peephole video" has topped the Google Search Trends list. Which means that everybody and their uncle is searching for the Erin Andrews peephole video online.

Erin Andrews is a 31-year-old American Sports broadcaster and was voted "America's Sexiest Sportscaster" by Playboy magazine in 2007 and 2008.

Out of curiosity I decided to finally go and read an article about Erin Andrews to find out what this whole peephole video thing was about. It turns out that some demented pervert video taped either Erin Andrews or a girl that resembles her through a hotel room peephole. That's just plain sick.

At least Erin Andrews is getting a whole lot of free publicity but is it worth the embarrassment? I doubt it.

Michael Jackson gave his last United States interview two years ago when he sat down with then "Ebony" magazine editor Bryan Monroe. Now Bryan Monroe is letting CNN know a bit about that Michael Jackson interview which he calls Michael's answers "sober and thoughtful."

Bryan Monroe said that Michael Jackson talked about creativity, music, and mortality, sharing his opinion on his legacy during the interview. At the time Michael Jackson said he had no interest in touring.

Walter Cronkite Dies At The Age Of 92 - July 17, 2009

CBS anchorman "Walter Cronkite" has died at the age of 92. During his highly successful career as a newsman he was referred to by many as "the most trusted man in America."

Walter Cronkite lost his battle with "Cerebrovascular disease" today, Friday July 17, 2009.

Born in 1916, Walter Cronkite was America's most influential television and radio broadcaster. Many associate Cronkite with his November 22, 1963 report of President Kennedy's tragic death.

Heather Zeo Charged - CNN VIDEO CLIP - Zeo Out On Bail

Heather Zeo has been charged with having sex with one of her North Penn High School students. Heather Zeo is a 36-year-old mother of three. She began flirting with her student on Facebook and the twisted relationship grew to one of a sexual nature according to the underage student involved.

Michael Jackson's song "A Place With No Name" was based on the 1970's "America" song "A Horse With No Name." According to TMZ's article Michael Jackson has permission to record such a similar song and that the band "America" is honored and hopes it will be released to Michael Jackson fans.

Oldest Mother In World Carmen Bousada Dies Of Cancer 2 1/2 Years After Giving Birth

Carmen Bousada became the oldest women to give birth at the age of 67. The Spanish mother gave birth to twin boys, Christian and Pau, in 2006 raising ethical questions on the responsible age for motherhood.

Just two and a half years after having her children she has died of cancer at the age of 69. She was diagnosed with cancer one year after she gave birth to the twins.

Carmen Bousada was a single woman who used in vitro fertilization and hormone treatment to get pregnant. Bousada admitted that she lied to clinic doctors about her age, saying that she was 55.

After hearing about how Richard Jefferson ditched the wedding I felt so bad for Kesha Ni Cole Nichols. I'm sure that Jefferson knew well beforehand that he didn't want to get married, so why put the poor girl through planning an entire wedding?

Artist Dash Snow Death At Age 27 - Dash Snow Artwork Video Clip

27-year-old artist Dash Snow died June 13, 2009 in New York at the Lafayette House, a Lower Manhattan hotel. According to Snow's grandmother he died of a drug overdose.

Dash Snow is a New York City based artist who is known for his amazing photographs, sculptures, and collages.

Dash Snow's work was exhibited in museums and galleries including "The Royal Academy in London, and the "Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery" in New York.

Snow led a difficult life, running away from home and living on the streets at the age of 14.

He Incorporated his experience of life on the streets in his artwork which depicted the candid scenes of violence, sex, and drug taking. In 2006 Dash Snow was listed as one of the top ten emerging U.S. artists.

Miss Howard Stern "Andrea Ownbey" In Serious Car Crash

"Miss Howard Stern," Andrea Ownbey was in a car accident on June 22, 2009. Today is the first time I've read any news about Andrea Ownbey's accident, likely because the death of superstar Michael Jackson has dominated the news headlines for the past couple of weeks.

Andrea Ownbey was listed in serious condition after her convertible ran into a telephone pole. Apparently Andrea Ownbey was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash and was thrown from the car on impact. According to news reports Andrea Ownbey suffered head injuries and could possibly have brain damage.

Just weeks after Jon and Kate Gosselin announced they were beginning divorce precedings Jon Gosselin was caught on film holding hands with his new girlfriend Hailey Glassman. How tacky!

You'd think he could at least wait a few months before beginning a new relationship out of respect for his children's feelings (we already know he doesn't care about Kate's).

Hailey Glassman is the daughter of Kate Gosselin's tummy tuck plastic surgeon so you have to wonder just how long Jon Gosselin has known her. Kate Gosselin had a tummy tuck not too long after she had the sextuplets to get rid of the extra skin caused by carrying multiples.

No word yet on how Kate Gosselin feels about Jon Gosselin's new girlfriend Hailey Glassman or the fact that he's moving on so quickly after the divorce announcement.

In recent months Kate Gosselin has been very emotional over the divorce and will likely be crushed to find out that Jon has begun a new relationship already. I don't even watch the show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" anymore. I feel too sorry for the Gosselin kids and all they're going through.

Elderly people have a higher risk at falling for lottery scams and sending money to receive their "fake" winnings. So let your grandparents, Great Aunt, or elderly neighbors know that such lottery scams exist so that they can avoid them.

Today's top news headline "Obama Checking Out Girl" made me laugh. When Obama got caught on film checking out the very young Mayara Tavares some wondered who the pretty girl in the photograph was.

Mayara Tavares is a 17-year-old G8 junior delegate from Rio de Janiero, Brazil. I wonder if President Obama will be spending some time sleeping on the Presidential couch after the First Lady checks out the picture of her husband "checking out the teenage girl?"

At least he was simply looking, he wasn't exactly ogling. And to Obama's credit the girl in the photo doesn't exactly look like a teenager either.

Mariah Carey apologizes for her singing performance at yesterday's Michael Jackson Memorial Service. Mariah Carey posted a message on her Twitter page saying

"Sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right,but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me."

I don't think Mariah Carey needed to give an apology, it was obvious that the star was choked up. No one can sing well when they are upset. I think it was thoughtful of her to send out an apology to her fans via Twitter though.

Rev Al Is A Racist According To Today's News Reports

This morning's headlines are reading "Rev Al Is A Racist" and "Al Sharpton Racist" after Rev Al Sharpton gave a passionate speech at yesterday's Michael Jackson Memorial Service at the Staples Center.

Various news sites are stating that both Al Sharpton's Michael Jackson memorial speech and other comments he made about the public not having respect for the singer are racist in nature.

I watched the video clip of the Al Sharpton speech and personally can't figure out what he said that would be so offensive that Rev Al would now be considered a racist.

In Rev Al's Memorial speech he talked about how Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five opened the doorway to other African Americans in a time when America was extremely racially divided.

While the CNN news team takes a tour of the large Neverland Ranch mansion something strange was caught on the tape, the newsman didn't notice, but some people watching the video noticed and thought it may even be Michael Jackson's ghost:

Disney Monorail Crash VIDEO - Viewer Discretion Advised

Earlier today I wrote about the July 5, 2009 Disney monorail crash that killed a young Disneyland employee who was driving one of the trains. Now there has been a video clip of the accident released to YouTube, it looks like one of the Disneyland guests at the scene pulled out their cell phone and began recording until someone asked them to leave.

Disney Monorail Crash Kills Conducter - July 5, 2009

A Disney monorail accident occurred at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning, July 5, 2009 at the Orlando, Florida Disneyland. Two disney monorail trains collided in the Magic Kingdom at the park's ticket and transportation center.

One of the train operators died at the scene of the crash while the other escaped the accident uninjured. Mike Griffin, the vice president of "Walt Disney World" has issued a public statement offering his condolences to the deceased Disney employee's family and said that the disney monorail is currently closed.




Disney's monorail system opened in 1971 and expanded to three monorail lines in 1982. 50 million Walt Disney World guests travel along the three Disney monorail routes each year.

Obamageddon - What It Is and If We Should Be Scared?

Obamageddon? Sadly enough this morning's top Google Search trend is for the word "Obamageddon." Obamageddon stands for the world's economic doomsday future with the expectations that the current economic crisis will lead to the worst depression ever seen.

Gerald Celente from the Trends Research Institute predicts that by 2014 the world will be in "the greatest depression" in history. Many of Gerald Celente's predictions have been accurate. For example he successfully predicted "Black Monday" and the "subprime mortgage crisis."

Now Gerard Celente is predicting that along with the greatest depression will come a flood of street crime and violence, a huge surge in homelessness, panhandling, and professions such as prostitution. He also predicts a worldwide commercial real estate collapse and says that by 2014 New York City will be much like Mexico.

So what's the solution? Gerald Celente says to stock up on gold and don't spend any money you don't have to. (No bomb shelter?)

I'm not sure if I'm buying what this guy is selling but I have to admit my curiosity got the better of me and I couldn't resist surfing through Gerald Celente's website, Trends Research Institute at TrendsResearch.com. Definitely the most depressing website of all time but it is interesting.

Former NFL star Steve McNair was found shot to death today, July 4, 2009 in a Nashville, Tennessee condo. A unidentified woman was also found dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.

The successful football quarterback was nicknamed "Air McNair" Steve McNair played with the Houston Oilers, Tennessee Titans, and the Baltimore Ravens. He retired from professional football in April 2008.

Steve McNair married his wife Mechelle on June 21, 1997. The couple have four sons together, Steve Junior, Steven, Tyler, and Trenton.

Just weeks ago Steve McNair opened up a new restaurant called "Gridiron9."Steve McNair was only 36-years-old at the time of his death.
