A high speed car chase that took place in Dallas, Texas today is dominating tonight's news headlines. The Dallas high speed car chase began when a driver refused to pull over for police and ended with a disastrous crash.

There are reports popping on websites across the Internet stating that rap artist "Husalah" has been stabbed in prison and has died. "Husalah" is a bay area rapper who began his career as one of C-Bo's Mob Figa, and later went solo, releasing 2 albums. He is a sought after independent artist who is serving time in prison.
The only problem is none of the reports are from credible news sources, and none of the reports say what source gave them the information of Husalah's death.
The rumor may be true but until a reliable news site like CNN or People.com releases the news no one can be sure if Husalah did in fact pass away. I'll be updating this post when more information is available
Michael Jackson died today after having a massive heart attack, he was only 50 years old.
I was so shocked when I heard about Micheal Jackson's death on the radio news this afternoon, I couldn't believe it. I knew that he's had many health problems but I didn't think his life was at risk.
He recently lost his Neverland Ranch, his valuable possessions, including career memorabilia were auctioned off, I wonder if the stress of so many life problems including the memories of a rough childhood full of law suits, paparazzi, and criticism, took its toll on the singer.
So many people are mourning the loss of Michael Jackson tonight, I've read more nice things about Jackson today then in the past ten years. The saddest part is he's not here to see how much he still means to the world.
In my eyes, Michael Jackson is one of the world's greatest musicians and performers. He was the first guy I ever had a crush on, and I even owned one of those sparkly gloves when I was 13.
I hope that his three children go on to live happy lives. They will miss their father far more than any of us fans ever could. Rest in peace Michael Jackson.

South Carolina Governor Mark Stanford held a press conference today to admit to the public that his "running away to Argentina" had something to do with having a long distance love affair. Stanford said that he's been cheating on his wife with a woman he became friends with eight years ago.
The relationship between the Governor and his mistress started out as an Internet friendship and grew over time into a full blown affair. During the press conference Mark Sanford said that he cried for 5 days in Beuno Aires, Argentina.
He had told his staff that he was getting away to clear his head and apparently did not even tell his wife he was leaving, let alone let her know it was to Argentina.

Ed Thomas, a 58-year-old athletic director and football coach at Iowa's Aplington-Parkersburg High School was shot and killed this morning, Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
The bizarre shooting took place in the High School weight room and was witnessed by up to 50 students. A former high school football player, Mark Becker, who had been on Ed Thomas' team has been taken into police custody as a suspect.
Ed Thomas was a well-known and highly respected coach. Four of his football team players went on to play in the NFL and in 2005 he was honored as the "NFL High School Coach Of The Year." Thomas had been a high school coach for 37 years.
A facebook page has been set up in Coach Ed Thomas' memory, the Facebook group is called "Praying For Ed Thomas."

Transformers: The Revenge Of The Fallen is opening in movie theatres today, June 24, 2009. But is it worth the price of a movie ticket?
I was actually a bit surprised that Transformers: The Revenge Of The Fallen has received such poor reviews, with all of the hype surrounding the movie I expected it to be a good one.

30-year-old "Tanya Angus" appeared on The Today Show to share her story.
Tanya Angus had a normal childhood and at the age of 20 was tall and slender at 5 foot 11 and 115 pounds. But she noticed that something was wrong, her clothes and even her shoes wouldn't fit.
She was eventually diagnosed with a growth disorder called acromegaly which is also referred to as giantism. This is the same disorder that "Andre The Giant" suffered with.
So far Tanya Angus has not found a treatment that will stop her from growing, now at the age of 30 she is 6 foot 6 tall and weights 480 pounds.
Acromegaly is very rare affecting only a few people out of a million each year. Tanya Angus hopes that her story will help alert others who are experiencing the same problems to get diagnosed and treated sooner.
By now you've probably heard about that Perez Hilton was assaulted outside a Toronto nightclub. Perez Hilton blames The Black Eyed Peas singer "Will.i.am" for the assault even though it wasn't him that punched Perez in the face.

I've never heard of the "Fisher" or "Fisher Cat" animal before today and I've certainly never seen one. But after hearing the news of a 6-year-old boy being attacked by a fisher cat on his way to school this morning I wanted to find out more about the animal.
Fisher cat's are dangerous predators and although they look pretty cute they will kill domesticated animals and wild ones too. They're a close relative to the weasel and are quite vicious.
The little boy from Rhode Island is fine but has bit marks on his legs from the attack. Thankfully neighbours rushed in to scare off the fisher cat.

Television celebrity Ed McMahon died today, June 23, 2009 at the age of 86. Ed McMahon was a successful comedian and TV host who became famous for his run on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He introduced Johnny Carson with the trademark "Heeeere's Johnny!"
Ed McMahon also appeared in several movies over the years and co-hosted the Jerry Lewis Telathon every year.
In 2008 he ran into a financial crisis and nearly lost his home. After appearing on the Larry King Live show to discuss his financial difficulties, Donald Trump stepped up to help McMahon save his house.
Ed McMahon was born in 1923 and was the father of six children. He lived an eventful life and will be long remembered as television's greatest comedic sidekick.

After a week of speculation on what Jon and Kate Gosselin's "big announcement" would be Jon & Kate Plus 8 viewers finally heard it all on tonight's Monday, June 22, 2009 show.
The couple announced that they would be separating. I expected that they would announce a break-up but what I didn't expect was to be so moved by Kate's emotions.
You could feel her deep sadness as she talked about Jon being the father of her children. It sounds like she really doesn't want the marriage to break-up but has no idea how to fix it. Jon Gosselin on the other hand talked about how he has played a passive role in the marriage, letting Kate lead, and how he is now ready to stand up for himself.
Kate Gosselin also revealed in tonight's episode that Jon will not speak to her. She said he is very angry and she cannot get him to open up and talk about his feelings toward her.
To say that there is a communication break down between the Gosselin's is an understatement. Neither of them seem to know exactly why they are separating nor have they sat down to discuss their relationship breakdown, but both are ready to move on in their lives so they don't have to keep living unhappily together.
The couple filed divorce papers today and plan to keep the children steadily in their new home and stay with them in the house during their scheduled visitation time. I felt particularly sorry for Kate who will have to leave the house and her children during Jon's stay.
Both Jon and Kate plan to keep filming for their TLC reality show but will be doing things seperately with their 8 children during tapings.
Even though Jon and Kate fans new that this day was coming, it's still very sad to see the break-up of a once happy family.
Two Washington D.C. Metro subway trains have collided during the Monday, June, 22, 2009 rush hour. So far 2 people have been reported as dead and 9 people injured. Initial reports say that there are passengers trapped inside the subway trains.
The crash took place on a track located above ground on the Red Line near Takoma Park, Maryland.
Professional golfer Chris Smith is faced with tragedy after his wife Beth and two children were involved in a serious car crash over the Father's Day weekend.
Beth Smith was driving a sport utility vehicle when she collided with a Greyhound bus, she was killed during the accident and children Abagail and Cameron are currently in hospital listed in critical condition.
Chris Smith has been part of the PGA Tour since the 90's.
After the Much Music Music Awards last night in Toronto, Ontario things got a bit weird.
The stars decided to do some clubbing after the awards show and Fergie ran into celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who was partying with Lady Ga Ga.
Perez Hilton insulting Fergie's latest album and hurt her feelings.
She told her fellow "Black Eyed Peas" bandmate and friend Will.I.Am that Perez upset her.
Later at another club Will.I.Am saw Perez Hilton and confronted him about disrespecting Fergie and upsetting her.
Outside of the club Perez Hilton began calling Will.I.Am a faggot.
It wasn't Will.I.Am that assaulted Perez Hilton but outraged fans that were watching Perez and Will.I.Am's argument.
Perez immediately sent out a Twitter Tweet as a call for help. Perez Hilton said he did call the police before his Twitter but they had not arrived so then he began sending out Twitter Tweets.
His Twitter's begged for someone to call the police because he'd been assaulted. Then said that police had arrived and to stop calling.
Perez Hilton's has posted an official statement to the public regarding last night's assault on his website.

The FDA is advising consumers to throw out any purchased Nestle Toll House prepackaged refrigerator cookie dough products as they have been linked to E.Coli. Not only is the Nestle cookie dough not safe to eat it is also not safe to handle as E.Coli can be spread throughout your kitchen.
Nestle USA has voluntarily recalled all varieties of refrigerated cookie dough. On one news site today I read that Nestle was offering consumers a full refund if they returned the purchased Nestle cookie and brownie dough to the store. But when I visited the official Nestle website I saw no information posted to back up these claims.
66 people from 28 U.S. states have been infected with E.Coli. The E.Coli related to the Nestle cookie dough is the same one found in contaminated meat. This type of E.Colie is dangerous causing symptoms of abdominal cramps, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and may even cause kidney damage and death. You can find out more about E.Coli food poinsoning here.
Canadians do not need to worry about this recall because Nestle Canada has stated that Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough products are not sold in Canada.

A rare transparent frog has been found in Ecuador. The "Nymphagus Chancas" is known as the "glass frog" or "crystal frog." The frog is unique because you can see it's internal organs through it's transparent skin.
It is found in the mountainous rainforests. Although the "glass frog" has been documented as living in Northeastern Peru this is the first time this specific species has been found by scientists in Ecuador.
The "glass frog" was one of nearly a dozen new wildlife species recently discovered in Ecuador.

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled Zicam nasal gels and related products because they may cause the unwanted side effect of "loss of smell."
The FDA has sent out a public warning to consumers to stop using three over-the-counter Zicam Cold Remedy items, nasal gel, nasal swabs, and kids size nasal swabs.
Since today's announcement of the Zicam recall the manufacturer of the product "Matrixx Initiatives" stock has dropped over 55%. Matrixx Initiatives has posted a message on their website saying that their products are safe.
After being interviewed by Today Show Host Al Roker Heidi and Spencer Pratt were not very happy. Al Roker questioned "The Hills" couple about their behavior during their week on reality show "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here..."

NASCAR race car driver Johnny Benson had a serious crash at the Berlin Raceway Saturday June 13, 2009. After Johnny Benson's #21 car collided with Larry Lehnert #92 car, Benson's car burst into flames.
Johnny Benson is currently listed in serious condition at Spectrum hospital and he is expected to make a recovery. Larry Lehnert was not injured in the crash.

In the latest "Jon & Kate Plus 8 news Kate Gosselin was caught on tape with her kids before they began a television interview. When her daughter Mady said she was thirsty and asked for a drink she ignored her request but she made sure that she had a drink of water before the interview began.
If there wasn't enough time for her daughter to get a drink then there shouldn't have been enough time for her either. In my opinion being a mother means putting your children's needs before your own or at the very least equally. This looks plain selfish to me, what do you think of Kate's behavior in this video?

Chastity Bono is the only child of Sonny Bono and singer Cher is having the sex change to become a male, she has already changed her name to Chaz Bono.
Chastity Bono grew up in the limelight making appearances on the Sonny and Cher Show's Comedy Hour and was always a tomboy. When she finally had the courage to come out as a lesbian to her parents her father was accepting but mother Cher had a difficult time accepting that her daughter did not intend to marry traditionally and have a family. Miss California Carrie Prejean has been fired and replaced by the next Miss California Tami Farrel.
Carrie Prejean was just about the last one to find out that she was being fired as Miss California, she found out through a phone call from an entertainment reporter and not directly from the head of the beauty pagaent organization Donald Trump.

The Gender Test, IntelliGender is now available in stores . IntelliGender is an over the counter kit you that parents can purchase to perform there own home test to see whether or not they are expecting a boy or a girl.
Working much like a pregnancy test IntelliGender is a urine test that can be performed ten weeks after conception. If the urine specimen turns green it’s a boy and if it turns orange it’s a girl. The 10 minute test is between 70 and 80% accurate so there is room for error.
The IntelliGender company advises to confirm the sex of their unborn child with a standard sonogram which is usually performed at 20 weeks. Even a sonogram isn’t a 100% accurate so you might not want to buy everything in pink or blue until the baby is born.
IntelliGender was created by scientists in the United States and is currently available in 11 countries but the IntelliGender kit will not be sold in countries where boys are favoured by parents such as China or India.
Anti-abortion groups are worried that women will be using the gender test for gender selection purposes but the vast majority of enquiries to the IntelliGender company are from those who are excited and curious to find out the sex of their baby a few months early.
The test has been sold online in the U.S. since 2006 but will now be accessible to many more parents.
