The most recent "Miley Cyrus is dead" rumors are 100% fiction. This is about the fourth or fifth time that some website has begun a rumor, printing that Miley Cyrus has died in a car crash. How twisted is that?
So why would a website print such garbage? Either they received a false tip that was not true, or they intentionally published false information to gain readers because it's a slow news day.
Miley Cyrus isn't the only celebrity that's been reported as dead, dozen of false celebrity death reports spread via the Internet each month. Unfortunately once in a while a false death report will make its way to a legitimate news site or Wikipedia.
Remember to always check CNN.com when you hear a strange celebrity rumor. They are very accurate with their news reports and report breaking news quickly.
