NASA is planning on "bombing the moon" tomorrow, October 9, 2009, with a rocket the size of school bus, in an effort to find out if there is water on the moon.
Sounds a little bizarre doesn't it? Some are worried about the impact that the "moon bomb" will have on the environment, but I'm sure NASA wouldn't do anything detrimental to the earth. At least I seriously hope not.
Here's more on tomorrow's "NASA moon bombing" from CNN News:
On the day the moon is being bombed the stars and environmentalists are getting together to promote OneDrop.org, an organization working to raise awareness of those who need clean water to survive in their communities.
