The Little Buddy Child Tracker By Insignia

One of today's top "Google Trends" which means "the most searched for phrases on Google Search" is for the "Little Buddy Tracker," a child locator device made by Insignia.

I've never heard of the "Little Buddy Child Tracker" before. I think it's a great way for parents to see where their children are, the only thing is, it may give parents a false sense of security.

For example, parents may decide that their child is safe to walk to school alone, or walking home from a friends because they can see where they are.

A child tracker is no match for a child predator, or a car hitting your child crossing the road. You may know where your child is, but you still don't know who they are with or what they are doing.

In my opinion the "Little Buddy Child Tracker" is a valuable device but it shouldn't replace hands on parental supervision.
