Oldest Mother In World Carmen Bousada Dies Of Cancer 2 1/2 Years After Giving Birth

Carmen Bousada became the oldest women to give birth at the age of 67. The Spanish mother gave birth to twin boys, Christian and Pau, in 2006 raising ethical questions on the responsible age for motherhood.

Just two and a half years after having her children she has died of cancer at the age of 69. She was diagnosed with cancer one year after she gave birth to the twins.

Carmen Bousada was a single woman who used in vitro fertilization and hormone treatment to get pregnant. Bousada admitted that she lied to clinic doctors about her age, saying that she was 55.
