When financial times get tough, financial scams increase while criminals pray upon the vulnerable. Don't fall for a phone call or email telling you that you've one the lottery. The latest lottery scam is the "Jamaican Lottery" but it could be the Irish Lottery, British Lottery, etc.
Elderly people have a higher risk at falling for lottery scams and sending money to receive their "fake" winnings. So let your grandparents, Great Aunt, or elderly neighbors know that such lottery scams exist so that they can avoid them.
