Cash For Clunkers Suspended? Car Allowance Rebate System At Risk
According to ABC News the "Cash For Clunkers" program may be suspended if the program runs out of funds early. The Cash For Clunkers program was scheduled to run until Novemeber 1 2009 or until government allocated fund ran out.
But due to the great success of cash for clunkers it looks like the program may not last until the end of the summer. For now though "cash for clunkers" is still going strong but if you're planning on trading in your old vehicle you might want to take advantage of the program before it's too late.

Unfortunately giving away money so people spend more money does nothing but temporarily lift the economy while adding to the crushing debt we are under. I don't agree with these programs because they do not address the underlying issues which is primarily a lack of jobs.
