Who wouldn't be exhausted after the week Susan Boyle has had. The unassuming Scottish woman became an overnight success after appearing on "Britain's Got Talent" and went from being overlooked to having paparazzi stalking her.Receiving world wide attention might seem like a dream but in reality it's more like a nightmare. She's been praised, criticized, had reporters shouting out insults and on top of it all I read that Susan Boyle has learning disabilities.
I have a child with mild learning disabilities and he becomes easily overwhelmed when there's too much going on at once. I think that Susan Boyle simply can't process the enormous amount of information that's being thrown at her in such a short amount of time. What would be a stressful and emotional exhausting experience for anyone would be a major meltdown for someone with learning disabilities. But of course, now that's she's star, those around her will be more concerned with the money they can make off of her than her well being.
