The Wearable Towel - May 26 2009

Topping today's Google Search Engine trends is the new "wearable towel." It's a good concept, it's basically a towel with arms that won't fall off when you walk around. It's good for around the house, the beach, the pool, etc.

The wearable towel is not that attractive though, but if function is your top priority and you don't mind the toga look it's available at WearableTowel.com for $19.95 plus shipping and handling.

Although this is a new invention there has been other adjustable towels available like the Spa Body Wrap which is a bit less obvious and few dollars cheaper than the "wearable towel."

For around the house I prefer a nice comfy Terrycloth Robe and for around the pool I'm fine with an ordinary beach towel. I could see the wearable towel being cute for kids but then again you can purchase cute hooded towels for children for less as well.

The wearable towel reminds me of the Snuggie Blanket, the blanket with arms. I bought one of these and rarely get the chance to use it since the kids always steal it from me (they love it.)
