The show "Medium" starring the very talented actress Patricia Arquette is my favorite show. My daughter and I faithfully tune in to see what psychic mystery will be solved next ever Monday evening at 10:00 p.m.
Today I heard for the first time that NBC will no longer be continuing the show and that the Medium Series Finale show will be next Monday, June 1, 2009. The finale show title is "Bring Me The Head Of Oswaldo Castillo" and Alison will be dreaming about a mystery man who comforts her after the loss of her family.
Which made me wonder, is this really the end of "Medium?" I read that CBS is planning on picking up the show but does that mean new episodes or only re-runs. I looked for information on both the NBC and CBS websites and found very little. It looks like CBS is just beginning to build the "Medium" show's web page.
I'm really hoping the show will continue making new episodes, I know I'm not the only die hard Medium fan out there and there would be a whole bunch of "Alison Dubois" junkies can't bear the thought of the show's ending just yet.

i really hope Medium is not canceled. my wife got me hooked on it a couple years ago and we have been watching it every week since then. that would be great if CBS picks it up and continues new episodes. we want to see what happens with Joe and his new job!

omg i hope some one contuines the show i am 15 just turned 15 the 28 of may and my mom got me hooked on this show and i usally hate junk like that and i am a guy too so i hate shows like that but this one is awsome nbc is going to loose a lot of viewers but the reason its going off nbc is becuase of the whole late night show conon o brian thing and jay leno being 10 oclock now but ever one in my family likes this show
My son watches the show and he's 13 so I think that a lot guys like this show too.

i read in the paper yesterday that CBS has picked up Medium and will be putting out new episodes next fall. It will be on Friday nights. right on!

Thanks for the news, everyone, that CBS will be picking up "Medium." My mother--never hooked on a show in her life--has only in the past few weeks become a fan. I was afraid she was going to really hurt someone when she found out.
NBC keeps wondering why it is at the bottom of the ratings chart and unfortunately, I think cutting this show (vs. finding a new time slot for it and promoting it more) is one more reason that they keep losing out to CBS.
I've seen every episode of this extraordinary show and am watching the finale now. My hope is that NBC has not put the nail in Medium's coffin. I'm a writer and can wiggle and waggle my way around any plot disaster, but CBS has it's work cut out for its writers when it revives the show. I certainly hope they bang it out and show NBC what a major mistake they made in canceling it.
I myself just watched the last epidsode of medium and found out it is NOT the last episode for it said TO BE CONTINUED....im not sure what that could mean but wether they're going to make a new season or just that that last episode was too long ot put into one show. Hop that helps :D
If anyone with any power is reading these posts, know that we don't want Medium to end. It is a creative show with agreat cast and it would a terrible loss if it ended.
Well, the TV Guide listing said this is the season finale, and not the series finale, so I am hoping. This show is brilliant, very creative with a wonderful cast. I would just hate to see it be cancelled.

I'm wondering if anyone with DVR/TIVO had this happen to them:
After last night's Medium episode. I went through my "shows to record" list and my DVR picked up an episode of Medium for next Monday 6/8/09. It is listed as new. I don't recall the episode description at the moment. I looked it up on TV Guide.com, but they have Dateline listed for the same time slot. I wonder if it is just a fluke from my DVR.
I absolutely LOVE medium. I'm sixteen and have been watching it for years. I can't wait for the rest of the show tomorrow night and this show better be continued!! I was absolutely devastated when i heard it would completely end. But now I couldn't have a bigger smile on my face!! :D

Only good song on the disk. There was a tune by Corrine Bailey Rae that played during an episode last season "Just Like a Star" -- that blew the whole show out of the water. It MADE the episode.
Still listen to that album all the time.
