It was 75-year-old comedian and entrepreneur Joan Rivers who ended up winning the 2009 season of Donald' Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice."
Joan Rivers made headlines after her daughter Melissa River (another contestant on the show) lost her cool after her daughter was fired by Donald Trump:
The shows ending revolved around a celebrity fundraiser in which Joan Rivers raised $150, 830 for "God's Love We Deliver" while rival Annie Duke raised $465, 725 for her favorite charity "Refugees International."
Overall Joan Rivers showed better entrepreneurial potential than Annie Duke getting "hired" by Donald Trump and winning this season of "Celebrity Apprentice." Last year it was "Britain's Got Talent" judge Piers Morgan who won the show and of course "Celebrity Apprentice" will be back again next year with a whole new line of business focused celebrities battling it out for charity.
