Craiglist Killer Suspect Behind Bars - Has Fiancee and Wedding Website

Police have arrested 22-year-old Philp Markoff, a medical student who they believe to be the "Craiglist Killer." Philip Markoff's fiancee Megan McCallister says that he is a "beautiful person" and believes he is innocent.

Philip Markoff and Megan McCallister met while volunteering at a local emergency room and have been dating for four years. They have been planning to get married August 14, 2009 and even had a wedding website online which has recently been taken down.

Authorities are accusing Philip Markoff of luring women via Craiglist advertisements and then attacking and robbing them. They also believe that he may be responsible of Craiglist victim Julissa Brisman. Markoff was caught on a surveillance tape last week at the luxury hotel where the most recent Craiglist victim was attacked. The victim's description of the man who attacked her matched up to that of Philip Markoff.

The fact that this seemingly good natured boy-next-door could in fact be the "Craiglist Killer" is eerie to say the least. The story is beginning to look like a real life CSI episode.
