Poor Jessica Simpson, the latest attacks on the "Dukes Of Hazzard" star remind me of the Britney Spears tabloid attacks only Simpson hasn't done anything out of the ordinary to draw the negative attention.
Jessica Simpson showed up to perform at a Chili Cook Off and because she wasn't her usual completely toned self it began a media frenzy. Every gossip site, tabloid, and entertainment show is discussing her sudden weight gain. OMG, she's no longer a size 2!
It's not enough to put the singer down for her weight why not start rumors about her personal life as well. After all she's so incredibly huge now at size 4 how could her boyfriend ever want her. So today's completely unfounded rumor is that Jessica's boyfriend Tony Romo cheated on her in the home they share together while she was away.
I feel a bit like that crazy "leave Britney alone" guy right now because seriously the media needs to leave Jessica Simpson alone. So she ate a hot dog or two after years of starvation. It doesn't mean she needs an immediate intervention and it also doesn't mean that her boyfriend is cheating. Gimme a break.
