Tropical Storm Faye Hits Florida

The tropical storm labeled as Faye has already reached Florida, started with the Florida Keys yesterday. Residents and tourists in the Florida Keys had been advised to evacuate before the storm hit. Winds reached 60 miles per hour and it's believed that the storm will continue to gain strength as it continues to travel across the state of Florida.

The storm is expected to reach Hurricane status sometime today and those living in Florida are advised to do whatever they can to protect their property and themselves.

My mother owns two properties in Florida and both are in the path of hurricane Faye. She left Ontario, Canada today heading back home to the United States, I hope she doesn't head right into the hurricane!
