You know it's a bad day in Disneyland when Cinderella and Tinkerbell end up in handcuffs. It all started when Disney workers sat in protest over change in their work contract. Many Disneyland employees will no longer be receiving health care benefits and they're not happy about it.
Disneyland like so many other American companies is cutting back on expenses during tough economic times which is why they chose to eliminate their free health care plan for workers. Health care isn't the only cut planned, Disneyland also wants to switch over to part-time workers so they won't have to pay for benefits, sick pay, or vacation time.
Isn't Disneyland supposed to be the happiest place on earth? But you can't blame the employees for being so upset. Many of them simply can't afford to pay for health care. It's a bad situation.

That is pretty messed up. It is silly how they are trying to get away with not having full time employees. It is their business though and they can run it how they please. If some employees don't like it, they can find a job elsewhere, not try and control a company.
