Here's some weird news I read today on GayWired.com. Troy King, the married Christian conservative Republican who is the Attorney General of the state of Alabama has been outed as being gay (or at the very least bisexual).
It wouldn't be all that weird of course except for the fact that King throughout his career has let his opinion of gays and lesbians be known, and has opposed same sex marriage and families, and even gone as far as to say that homosexuality is the "downfall of society."
It was allegedly his own wife who had the misfortune of finding her husband with another man in her very own marital bed. Wow.
Troy King's office has denied the affair, and let's remember..innocent until proven guilty.
If the gay affair is in fact true, then a gay man has been fighting against the very thing he is, which to me is bizarre. Perhaps it was his attempt to never be found out. But in the end, it sure backfired.
