Eight Year Old Granted Divorce - It's The Story You Won't Believe

Believe it or nor an 8 year old girl living in Yemen filed for her own divorce after her father married her off to a 30 year old man.

After her adult husband repeatedly beat and raped her, the 8 year old went to her parents for help but they wouldn't listen.

She then decided to seek out a judge by herself that would grant her a divorce. What's even more amazing is that she's not alone in her situation in the region she lives in.

The court did grant the girl a divorce and thankfully removed her from the control of her father as well.
