When the Arlington community heard about Mayor Carmen Kontur-Gronquist's sexy MySpace photo's, which are of her in nothing but a black bra and panties, there were those who weren't too happy.
The Mayor said in one interview that "those who are offended need to get over it." She has also said that it has nothing to do with her mayor's position.
Quite the attitude to take for someone who is acting more like a teeny bopper than a professional. Sure it's her personal life, but if you spend your time take sexy pictures and posting them for fun on the Internet that says a lot about your personality.
If she wants to pose in her undies for the camera then she should go for it, become a calendar pin-up, Playboy Bunny, or whatnot, no problem.
But if she wants to represent her her town, perhaps she should keep her clothes on. I somehow don't think Hilary Clinton would be running for President right now if she had racy pictures of herself plastered on MySpace.
It would be one thing if she had taken the pictures and perhaps regretted the decision, but instead she posts them proudly and then tells the community to get over it.
Perhaps Arlington needs a mayor who is concerned with how the community feels, and even better, one that behaves as a responsible adult.

Slut bucket....I wish I knew where this magical switch that separates personal from professional life was located. I guess school teachers should be able to date their students as long as it's after hours, or clergy can bugger the alter boys, as long as the sermon is over and it's on their "personal time" Dumbest excuse for being a tramp I ever heard of.
