Sadly enough a rare Ganges River Dolphin was beaten to death by fisherman in Bangladesh who saw the dolphin trapped in low waters and didn't know what it was.

When the fishermen could not sell the rare mammal they left it outside of a museum. It is estimated that there are 5,000 or less Ganges River Dolphins left, making them an endangered species.
