If you use the Google search engine you might have noticed today's chosen theme was Legos. That's because today is Lego's 50th Anniversary.
In 1932 Ole Kirk Christansen began a small Denmark factory that featured wooden toys. The name "lego" comes from a mixture of Danish words that translate into "play well."
Eventually the lego would evolve into the small plastic bricks that we've become accustomed to today, enjoyed by children and their parents all around the world.

Fun tidbit Christy. In my home, I think of legos as painful little things I step on in the middle of the night. :-)

Oh, I know what you mean, excruciating on the feet. Today I was almost taken out by a tiny Barbie toy, lol, ouch.
