Tiger Attack At Zoo Leads To Teens Death

Three young men, ages 17, 19, and 23 decided to visit the San Fransisco Zoo on Christmas day. An hour before Zoo closing time the boys ran into trouble at the Cat Exhibit when a Siberian Tiger attacked.

The two older men narrowly escaped with their lives after being chased, captured, and mauled by the tiger. The seventeen year old boy was killed during the attack.

Investigators are attempting to piece together what happened Christmas day at the zoo. A footprint found at the crime scene suggests the possibility that the men had been taunting the animal before the attack.

So far it is unknown whether the tiger escaped on its own, and whether the three men involved were in an area of the Zoo that they shouldn't have been in.

There were very few Zoo visitors on Christmas day, so it may be difficult to find any witnesses other than the two injured men that can explain exactly what went on during their excursion.

The kids are at totally at fault. Because of their teasing and taunting an animal and a human lost their life. Had the kids not tormented this Tiger the whole situation could've been avoided. I feel really bad for the boy who died and the tiger. I am also angry at the boys that caused this situation. I think they should be handled by the law for what they did. It was NOT the Tiger's fault. I will be keeping up with this story and any updates.
