Everyone's Talking About Jamie Lynn Spears

It's the talk of the town, or at least the blogoshpere, magazines, and television. Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant at the age of 16, and now the star of the hit T.V. show Zoey 101 is facing the same scrutiny as her older sister Britney.

Everyone wants to discuss the father(boyfriend,Casey Aldridge), and some want to condemn her for following in her troubled sister's footsteps. Quite a few mother's are even requesting that Zoey 101 be canceled.

I say give Jamie Lynn a break, she made a huge mistake that she will have to live with for the rest of her life, does she really need the public passing judgment on her like an 1800's witch hunt.

Obviously both Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn haven't had a normal upbringing, their entire lives have been about finding fame and fortune instead of learning things like family values.

Thankfully their mother's parenting book has been put on hold, it was originally due to be released in spring 2008. If it is ever released it's one book I won't be reading.

I don't think I, or anyone else for that matter needs parenting advice from someone who hasn't shown any kind of parenting skills. Her book is another attempt to earn cash no doubt, but I think at this point she needs to come up with a plan to save her own family instead of worrying about her book.
