Another Sad Case of Parental Neglect

It's unbelievable, almost unfathomable that parents could strap a fourteen month old baby into a stroller and then head off to work or to go out drinking, but that's exactly what Rachel Anderson and her boyfriend Mitch Laputka did.

Apparently the mother only changed the toddlers diaper once a day and when he was found he was suffering from severe diaper rash.

The parents selfishness is incomprehensible. They don't want to actually care for the child but they do want to keep him. With so many loving families waiting to adopt children it's so sad to think of this neglected child being raised by uncaring parents.

Although he is off to the start of a new life, the damage of early neglect will possibly damage his life permanently.

His parents are both awaiting trial from the Milwaukee County jail, and although the couple admitted to leaving their son home alone while they worked and partied they've pleaded not guilty to charges of neglect. Are they serious?
