Do Over The Counter Lip Enhancers Work?

I have tried L'Oreal's Volume Perfect Re-Shaping Lipcolour and it did work to some degree. After using the product daily for three days I did notice a bit of an increase in lip volume, my lips actually became puffier. They were also very itchy and I found it to be a bit uncomfortable.

Was the increase in volume due to the irritation of the lip product? Perhaps my lips were just swelling up. But hey, the product did what it promised, it added volume to my lips, and as itchy as I was, I liked the look. I personally don't think it is comfortable enough to wear as an everyday lip product but if you really feel you need pumped up lips it might be worth a try.
