Review
This is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. I'm a Nicolas Cage fan so I had great expectations for this movie, none of them panned out. The characters were not as likable as they could have been. You pretty much either had to know the comic book or guess what was going on, because there was no depth of any explanations. Strange characters were popping up throughout the movie, but who were they? I have no idea.
If you can get past the mediocre story line there are some fantastic special effects, but somehow it just didn't blend in. It's almost like watching two separate movies in one, an action, and a sappy movie with poor writing. Well bring it all together and you have "Ghost Rider."
In the movie's defense I ran across a thirteen year old boy who loved the action scenes, so perhaps there is a market for this movie after all.
Verdict - 1 Flaming Skull out of 4
