It's a supposedly frightening tale of a small town horrified by biblical plagues.

Review

Seems scary doesn't it? But it's actually scary in more of a " I can't believe that I paid to see this movie" way.

I found this movie to be completely weird. There were some thrilling scenes here and there, and some off and on mildly tense moments throughout the movie. But I don't know if I'd actually call it a horror movie, and I scare easily.

About twenty five minutes into the movie the audience was becoming so bored people started checking their cell phone messages and chatting with the people next to them. Determined not to become distracted I continued to watch this seemingly pointless movie. Once the audience realized that it just wasn't going to get any better they started laughing at what was supposed to be scary.

About 3/4 into the movie it actually seemed like it was getting interesting, was there actually a point to this movie after all? But the horrible ending ruined it.

Verdict - 1 out of 4 scary biblical plagues.

Save your money, and when it comes out on video, rent something else.
