Movie Review - The Queen

The Queen - Starring Helen Mirren, Michael Sheen, James Cromwell, and Sylvia Syms.

Rated - PG-13 (for brief strong language)

What's It About?

This movie revolves around Princess Diana's death and how the Queen handled it in her own royal fashion.

Review

Granted this is not the most exciting movie, but it is interesting. Helen Mirren plays the Queen well and gives us a glimpse into royal life. Did the Queen handle Princess Diana's death appropriately, is she a cold hearted women or is her strict upbringing to blame for her behavior? Although I don't think everyone would be intrigued by this movie, those who have an interest in the Royal family or Princess Diana would most likely enjoy watching the events surrounding Princess Diana's death unfold.

Verdict - 2 1/2 out of 4 tiara's - a good movie but not for everyone.
