Self Tanning Lotions

If you haven't used a self tanning product since the eighties or nineties you're missing out. Yes, back then self tanners turned you orange and gave you quite a scary streaky appearance. But a lot has changed since then.

I've tried several self tanners and all of them have worked quite well. No matter what fragrance is added to the self tanning lotion it always has the same distinct smell. But that's the price you have to pay for a quick and easy tan.

I really like the Dove self tanning lotion, it is the best I've tried so far. I have yet to try the more expensive brands (I'm too cheap). Dove is reasonably priced and gives you a very natural looking tan. I've used it on my body and face with great results. I have very sensitive skin and I didn't feel any discomfort using the Dove self tanner. (Of course, keep it away from you eyes). It moisturizes and gives a shimmery glow, which is very nice for summer. So far Dove is my pick for the most reasonably priced, gentle and efficient tanning cream.

Interesting review of the Dove Self-Tanning lotion.....how long was it before you saw results?

Hi,

I have very pale skin and I saw results within a couple of hours, after three days I had a pretty decent looking tan.
